Last night I drank beer with Ken.
けさ、ぼくは はちじに おきる。
This morning I get up at eight.

I phone Yumi. Yumi is a friend from work.

「ユミ、いま どこ? かいしゃに だれも いない!」
"Yumi, where are you? There's nobody at the office!"

「いえに いる。きょうは にちようびだから。」
"At home. It's Sunday, after all."

「にちようび?」
"Sunday?"
ぼくは けいたいを みる。にちようびだ。
I look at my phone. It's Sunday.
ユミが いう。
Yumi says,

「いまから きっさてんに こない?」
"Want to come to the coffee shop now?"
ぼくと ユミは きっさてんに いく。
Yumi and I go to the coffee shop.
ぼくは パンを ふたつ たべて、おちゃを のむ。
I eat two pieces of bread and drink tea.
ユミは ぼくの かおを みる。
Yumi looks at my face.
ユミ
「げつようびは あしただ。」
"Monday is tomorrow."
