Learning
Practice
Grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing beyond the lessons.
Six pillars #
The Practice page groups everything outside the lesson path into vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing. Activities unlock as the modules they depend on do, so nothing assumes material you have not met.
Grammar and conjugation #
Particle drills and verb or adjective conjugation trainers for Japanese and Korean, plus a conjugation grid for Spanish. Review sessions bring grammar points back on their own schedule.
Reading and listening #
Graded stories with tap-to-look-up words, an optional English line and a comprehension quiz, plus fill-in-the-blank from sentences you have studied. Conversations can be listened to or role-played. Stories and conversations are written by hand and currently cover Japanese and Korean.
Speaking and writing #
Speaking uses speech recognition on sentences from your modules. Writing covers typed practice and, for Japanese and Korean, handwriting. See Letter practice.
