Korean weather words and the four seasons
Korean talks about rain and snow with the verb 오다 (to come): 비가 와요 is literally rain comes. Hot and cold are the ㅂ-irregular adjectives 덥다 and 춥다, which become 더워요 and 추워요. The seasons take the time particle 에: 여름에 더워요, it's hot in summer.

Good to know
- 비가 와요 (it's raining), 눈이 와요 (it's snowing), 바람이 불어요 (it's windy).
- 덥다 and 춥다 are ㅂ-irregular: the ㅂ becomes 우 before a vowel, so 더워요 and 추워요, never 덥어요.
- 오늘 날씨 어때요? asks about the weather. 내일은 맑을 거예요 is a forecast with the future (으)ㄹ 거예요.
